This ongoing collaboration between sound artist Alexandria and artist Lotty Adam began in the stillness of a secluded Greek island, where the two met during an artist residency. Surrounded by sun-bleached rock, cicada song, and the shifting rhythm of the sea, Alexandria responded to the island's landscape and soundscape as a living, breathing presence, an emotional terrain as much as a physical one. Lotty's works emerge from these captured sounds themselves, met through a maieutic and sensual mode of listening. Working blind, she strips away the visual to draw closer to sound's raw texture, letting it move through her and take shape on its own terms - unmediated, intuitive, and deeply felt.
